Chapter 2 uploaded. Should be on the Vault soon
Been a knackering few days bug hunting / fixing.
Thanks so much to all who helped - and any that hadn;t got back to me in time, thanks, and I'll still welcome any comments
I'm going to be pretty busy with work next few days so was keen to get it out now.
Now I need to rest, maybe play the Red Prison, which I've been waiting to do, before all the bug reports flood in!
For all those who supported me withChapter 1, I hope I've done your support justice!

Yay! Congratulations Wyrin! I'll download it and start all over again immediately. Great job!
I love it a lot. I am hoping to talk to Zabados more and find out more about him when we rescue his sister. I think that would be nice.
Who is this Taron guy? I was asking the teifling about him and she was talking about him. I guess he is going to be a knew party member, because it is beyond me who he is. Just thought I'd mention a little bug. She said he was a stuck up padalin.
Oooo! This game is going to be great! I might start from a save or start the game over when your completely done. It's a quite nice peice of work you have here. It's going to be well recieved by your fans! Good job!
THanks guys! I'll update here when it's posted on the vault
Kaida - yep taron is a new companion . I must have missed a check in Contess'as dialogue to see if he is in the party - 1st bug to go!
...and I was just ready for testing the alpha...
Curses! >_<
Still, I had some problems with the version of DA 1 I just played through after discovering that I had previously played an older version (which was why I couldn't immediately start testing the alpha, in case you wondered). The conversation after defeating the Barrow Wights didn't fire. I already completed the main quest, so I'm not sure if that might be the cause of that.
Also, I recall there being a conversation about the Marrash firing somewhere in the Bandit camp last time, which didn't fire this time.
Also, I got the conversation between Seich and Gork about them being similar in that they are outcasts from their people in a way at least three times - every time I switched between companions, that one fired. >_>
Also, the Ghaunadaur quest. I had first said I'd bring the tears of the woman, did so, but decided I didn't want to give a sacrifice to an evil deity really, so said that to the Oozemaster. He of course attacked, I defeated him, yadddayadda. However, the journal entry didn't get updated in any way, still displaying as me having gotten the tears, but not brought them there yet. I think you should add the option for people who change their mind after all into the Journal entries. Uncompleted journal entires are evil. >_<
Okay, going to try the Act 2 from the vault then, I guess. Though I really want that conversation at the Barrows to fire... :(

Hey jazhara
The problem withthe barrows might be if your PC had died. Can't get that consistently working. But if you want to debug it to work, simply load the game by the barrows
bring down the console (`) and type
DebugMode 1
rs ga_start_convo("sp_barrow","conv_barrow",0,0,1,0)
That should launch the conversation for you! Hope it works - depending which reward you choose can effect the end of chapter 2!
by the way, the rs line above should all be one line - the blod breaks it up over two
Thank you for the quick help! ^_^
I figured it might have influence on things later in the campaign last time I played, which is another reason why I was concerned about that conversation not firing properly. As far as I remember, my PC didn't die in that fight, so I don't think that's what was the problem.
Also, for anyone who has problems with getting the console to start, you can use the chat line, which is activated by hitting enter. The only thing you have to remember is putting two Hashes/Number signs in front of the code, so the engine knows it's not dialoge.
So, for example, if you want to increase your Strength to 20, it would be like this:
##DebugMode 1
##SetSTR 20
##DebugMode 0
Always confirmed by hitting ENTER. It's much easier to use, especially if you're not on using an American version with an American keyboard, I've found. This same thing works in NWN 1 too, by the way.
Also, are the Barrow wights supposed to be there during the day?
Anyway, I'm going to use that code now to get the conversation. Thanks again! ^_^
Oooh, can't wait for DA2 to show up on the vault!
- :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Woa! Congratulations! I'm very happy for you. After following its development attentively, it's great to see your mod come out. You must feel really good.
And here I thought you were just in alpha testing... where did beta go?
But, hey, they're just old greek letters anyway, so, really, who cares! ;) Congratulations again!
E.C. - thanks! Yeah, the whole alpha beta things a bit odd - it was only alpha as it was the first time anyone other than me would have looked at it! But as I played through and jumped through a lot the past few days I'm pretty confident that even if people run into problems, none of them should be show-stoppers. And I needed to release this as won;t have a chance otherwise for a bit!
Does feel a relief!
I haven't had a chance to play, but I am VERY excited that this is out. Chapter 1 was the only mod that ever temped me into playing a less than heroic character.
Congratulations.
Thanks Ernie! Appreciated your support on this!
This wasn't so bad. I thought it was kind of short though. Perhaps I should try playing the sidequests. How do you get this Toron guy to join up with you?
I had more conversations with Seich than I did with Zacados which was a pity.
I liked when you sleep people speak to you. It was creepy that the horse can read my thoughts though.
I took the boat and the chapter ended. Aww... I wanted to do Zabados side-quest. Oh well I guess I have to wait.
I'll play it again as a guy maybe.
And that poor elder he went to hell!!!
Thanks for playing Kaida! True, you can complete it by only going through 8 of the 23 areas including epilogue, but if you missed out on the raven's lake quest, there's a lot there too
