hehe, glad I'm not the only one! That was written last night when i'd just finished a bunch of conversations, sorting out the listener/speaker tag, putting in animations/scripts... turn what was a side of scribbled notes into a mammoth task! Then i opened the scipt editor and had a blast. Would be nicer to communicate in NWscript
I think some times, you have to tap into your insanity to write dialog! Then it takes over. At that point. it is no longer tapping into it. It is tapping into you :D hehe
We all learn to dread doing conversations from time to time. Can't even begin to tell you how horrible dialogue is to write when you don't want to write it, not to mention its not particular an interesting scene for you.

I'd like to second that, stone-firmly! :)

object oMe = GetObjectByTag("me");
if (!GetIsInDialogue(oMe))
{
SetLocalInt(oMe, "Happy", 1);
}
Problem is I only have conversations left now. Should be on track to upload alpha version this weekend
lol at your script ;)
Couldn't agree more about conversations. Would be nice to have a way of checking/previewing them in the toolset too through some kind of plug-in.

Yeah I'd second the call for a conversation previewer in the toolset.
Butr sometimes I think I'd be happier building H&S (if not playing it)!
I hear you about conversations/cutscenes. They take a long time to test and tweek/ test & tweek/ test & tweek...
Wow that's great news about the alpha upload this weekend!
